Woke up before the clock today. Waited till the alarm rang at 7.30 before waking up proper. Had a cereal breakfast and arrived at office at 9.15am. the traffic seems to vary quite a bit. worked on the madrasah for most of the time. Interesting to see the internal plan of the school. Basically, the brief was to propose a passenger lift. As it is <24m, only one lift is needed, and that doubles up as an evacuation lift. Googled around for the lifts, not exactly something new, There is an existing conserved building in the middle, and the L shape block of classrooms around it. The level difference though, is quite substantial with many step up and step downs. handsketched initially, and then cadded over. The pdf version is really horrible, columns not match up on the different floors. Another thing of discoverery is that indeed the validity of the topo survey will expire in march. Hence forth, a fresh one will have to be done, which means money to be spent.
