Woke up at 7 am today. Had a cereal breakfast in order to have it with the cough meds. Reached office at 9am. Got to work  on modelling the ESS, a simple form, but little details like raising it a total of 300mm from the ground.glass blocks and louver windows, offset of 250mm from the top, side wall to offset by 800mm. Afternoon was exciting, M came in for a potential discussion of a house plot to be divided into 4 units. On sitting in, i realised many terms such as developement baseline with validity of 6 months, external wall works, DC charges, were thrown around. One thing i couldn't catch was why wasn't there enough area, even though i though min. area is 150m2. Then the office latest portfolio was shown, quite impressive projects, ranging from the retail along MBS mall to 4 houses along chancery drive. After the meeting which over-ran by 30mins, i then went for a sugarcane with M. she had the laksa which looked good, but was given a score of only 6/10. The substations have quite a few detail to learn. i  should really focus on the themes of it. One of the key points is the placement, as when added to existing structures, the foundation determines where the cutting of beam happens. all in all, an interesting day.
