Woke up at 7.15am today. A friday, went to work arrived somehow earlier than usual even had time to buy a hotdog bun. My cough seems to have gotten worse and i cannot breathe for 5 mins without taking a cough. Was suppose to go to Bukit batok site to take some pictures actually, but an ex colleague of the office came in the morning. So ended up touching up the drawings instead, a little bit of sketchup and cad and photoshop. actually the amount of work to be done is quite little compared to a full blown building. so i should be considered quite lucky. For lunch we went to telok blangah as per normal for fridays, as it is mosque day and we get dropped off and picked up. speaking of which i need to write the minute meetings for PPNRP. The latest hawker stall that just opened features a dollar return for trays. but due to the crowd, we haven't yet had the time to try it. Went to BB finally at the end of the day. noted the 3 pavilions and the basketball court. the first impression at the entrance was that a community garden at the entrance may be a little tricky but then again, the choices are quite limited for placement such as not to affect the serenity of the hill.This CG would probably be the biggest challenge for the site. the 3G node station came out okay, and to my surprise the existing pavilion modules felt quite comfortable. Where the last pavilion sat nicely under the canopy of the tree. Lastly, the top summit platform was perfect. with the large indian laurel fig in place, the 3 platforms blended in quite nicely. it is indeed a luxury to do a park project in singapore.
